Gyachi and Gyachoo – Yahoo Messenger for Linux

Gyache (Gyachi)
Gyachi can enter chat rooms and webcam. A gui is so ugly but it is better than Gyachoo.
Latest GYachI Version: 1.1.0

[04 Nov 2007] After much anticipation, GYachI version 1.1.0 has been released. This is a major bugfix / UI improvements / performance enhancement release. Here are quotes from email posted by ghosler, our main developer:
Release notes about this release, describing the differences between this and the earlier 1.0.5 can be found here.

Going forward, each major commit (which is most commits 🙂 will have a version bump. The version sequencing will be along the lines of 1.1.0, 1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.1.3, 1.1.4, 1.1.5, etc. The last digit is a “patch number”.
I’d like to take a moment and thank everyone that participated in this release in one way or another. With out the contribution of ideas, and the testing that you have done, GyachI would not be as good as it is today!) I’d like to especially thank Loell who either contributed many suggestions/ideas, or simulated many others! 🙂
Get gyachi here:

Three package: RPM, DEB and tar.gz

What gyachoo can do? Chat with your friend. A gui look similar as YM but certain function doesn’t work well.
